  NCNSP STEP Program

Cross Creek Early College High School (CCECHS) is a progressive, public school of choice located on the campus of Fayetteville State University.  Our goal is to improve the college going rate and success in college of traditionally underrepresented groups by exposing them to a rigorous curriculum which includes college coursework beginning in the sophomore year.

Our school vision guides all our decisions and as a result we ensure:

  • Honors courses for ALL students
  • Daily affective development centered around relationships, respect, responsibility, and overall character development
  • A school culture of academic focus and individual attention
  • The opportunity for 60 hours of college credit PRIOR to high school graduation

We, at CCECHS, recognize the importance of an excellent education and are aware of the many choices for your student.  We hope you will give our school the opportunity to shape your student’s educational experiences and future.

Patsy Patrick- Principal

"Cross Creek Early College, a Learn and Earn School, made me stronger and more disciplined. It encouraged me to work for what I want and want what I need. Job opportunities will be abundant thanks to this school. Cross Creek opened doors for me, changed my life and is giving me endless possibilities."
-- Lewis, Student of 1st Graduating Class of CCECHS
